The Guarantee

If your audit results in a failed outcome, Comp AI will provide a full refund of subscription fees paid to date.

What Qualifies as a Failed Outcome

• SOC 2: A qualified or adverse auditor opinion, or material exceptions that the auditor determines prevent issuance of an unqualified report
• ISO 27001: Failure to achieve certification due to major non-conformities
• HIPAA/GDPR: Auditor determination that your program does not meet the applicable framework requirements

Minor observations, recommendations for improvement, or informational findings that do not affect the overall audit opinion do not qualify as a failed outcome.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for a refund:

1. Payment current: All invoices paid with no outstanding balance
2. Active engagement: You must have:
   • Completed platform onboarding within 30 days of subscription start
   • Addressed at least 80% of platform-identified tasks and findings
   • Responded to Comp AI implementation team communications within 5 business days
3. Audit completed: The audit was conducted by a qualified third-party auditor
4. Timely claim: Refund requested within 30 days of receiving audit results

How to Request a Refund

Contact us within 30 days of receiving your audit results:

• Slack: Your dedicated customer channel

Include:

• Copy of your audit report showing the failed outcome
• Confirmation that all invoices are paid

We'll process your refund within 15 business days of verification.

Exclusions

This guarantee does not apply if the failed outcome resulted from:

• Customer's failure to implement recommended controls
• Providing false or misleading information during the audit
• Scope changes requested by Customer after audit began
• Auditor findings unrelated to areas covered by Comp AI

Disputes

If we disagree about whether a refund is warranted, either party may request a review by an independent compliance professional mutually agreed upon by both parties. The reviewer's determination will be final. Each party bears its own costs; the reviewer's fee is split equally.

Refund Cap

Refunds under this guarantee are limited to subscription fees paid during the first 12 months of your subscription. Additional services, auditor fees, and third-party costs are not refundable.
